A:
This class is for cyclists who feel confident in handling a bicycle, that is, starting, stopping and turning. It is not for people who do not know how to ride a bike.
Q: Is there an age limit for the class?

Cyclists should be at least 16 years old to take the class. There is no upper age limit.
Q: Is there a test with the class?

To pass the class, members must pass a written and a road test with a score of 80 percent. Most students have no difficulty passing either test.
Q: Can I take the class riding a recumbent?
A:
It is possible to use a recumbent with the class, although some of the safety maneuvers are difficult to perform on a recumbent.
Q: What kind of bike do I need for the class?
A:
Any rideable bicycle will work in this class. However, a bike with gears is preferable.
Q: What if it rains the day of the class?
A:
If it rains, we will reschedule the outdoor portion of the class for another day.
